Allison Pietsch is a contemporary oil painter from Louisiana. She received her BFA from Baylor University in 2021 and currently lives in Savannah, Georgia, where she attends the Savannah College of Art and Design. 

Referencing art history, Mythology, and the roles of archetypes within them, her narratives depict a relationship of neurodiversity with otherness. Allison shares glimpses of her inner world as a means of attentive witnessing, examining how myths about the Autism Spectrum and misconceptions about ADHD can shape one’s identity and life experiences.
